Tex-Con
Oil Company was founded in 1939 by Raymond Ramsey,
transformed by his son Tim Ramsey, and operates
today in the Central Texas region under its new
president Clay Johnson. Tex-Con specializes in
petroleum distribution, both in wholesale and
retail applications. A large portion of our business
involves the distribution of unbranded diesel,
gasoline and ConocoPhillips lubricants to hundreds
of major companies in a variety of industries.
These industries include contractors, quarries,
trucking, concrete and asphalt, equipment rental,
school districts, and various government agencies.
Our operations can be divided essentially into
three distinct branches: wholesale, retail, and
bulk plant sales.
Tex-Con
Oil Company has grown from a one truck, two-man
fuel distributorship to a 19 truck, 40-person
business that distributes approximately 80 million
gallons of fuel and 1 million gallons of lubricants
annually to 65 convenience stores, dozens of fast
lubes, and hundreds of wholesale accounts.
